Taro Milk Tea

Here is my morning smoothie recipe: 4 oz oat/almond beverage, 4 oz liquid egg white, a couple tbsp of oatmeal/rolled oats, 1 tbsp chia seeds, 1 tbsp almond slivers, 1 scoop creatine, 1 scoop taro protein, MIX, heaping tbsp greek yogurt, handful of spinach/spring mix, palmful of frozen blueberries, 1 sliced banana, 4 ice cubes, MIX. Definitely my favourite flavour as a taro boba lover. Has a good amount of sweetness and mixes very smooth. Only slight potential drawback is that it has a bit of a yam/sweet potato taste. However, I'm sure if you like taro you already like yams and sweet potatoes too.

I was really sceptical that a protein powder could taste good, but I was pleasantly surprised. The taro powder tastes yummy (for a protein powder lol) and dissolves easily. I would buy again. There's no weird aftertaste either.

It really does taste like Taro bubble tea! It's alright with water, but using milk will drastically improve the consistency and flavor of your shake!

It took me awhile to find a protein shake that actually tastes good. Boba Tea protein is it for me. I really enjoy the taste and the smooth, natural texture. Glad to see a refreshing variety of flavours and such a great quality of ingredients. Coming back for more!

I got the taro flavour and I am obsessed with how delicious it is! I started lifting and need more protein. I am very impressed with the flavour and consistency. Just the right amount of sweetness. The natural color makes it such a happy time all the while aiding in hitting my macros. I love my blender bottle too. It makes it super easy to blend up. I wish the measurements were a little easier to read as they blend into the bottle but I would still recommend the product and purchase again. Thank you Neil and team!! Amazing, bold, taro flavor. Manages to taste more like than mashed taro itself! Also, the modest sweetener allows the taro to shine in the spotlight rather than be lost in all the sugar like standard taro milk tea.

The taro one tastes amazing with plain low/no sugar Greek yogurt and some toss of berries, it’s almost like having a gelato! I added a decent amount of ice to take away the stevia taste, great treat after a workout. Also love the sweet potato hint of aroma as I am a yam lover!

This was my first Boba Tea Protein and I could not be more satisfied with the Taro Milk Tea flavor. It easily dissolves and doesn't have a powder taste or whey residue like others. I also enjoy a milkier taste so I adjust accordingly to my preference. Even my boyfriend who was first skeptical of the product is now a fan. We just couldn't believe that this delicious was a protein powder but we see the gains!

This protein powder is so good. It doesn’t taste as thick or as sweet as Norma taro boba, but it’s so good as a protein drink. The monk fruit isn’t super artificially and I can’t really taste a difference. It tastes like the milk after eating a bowl of lucky charms. Very good!!

Love the taro flavor. It tastes better than most boba places. I just put a little more milk and water because this one is a little thicker in comparison to the classic milk tea.

I have actually tried two other brands of taro protein powder from Amazon. One was called “Subtle Nutrition” and the other was called “FitBites”. The two were okay, but they didn’t satisfy what i was looking for. Then i found this brand and ordered some Boba Tea Protein. It tastes really good; the best taro milk tea protein powder i’ve ever had. I’m also so amazed at how good the ingredients are. I’m really satisfied with this product and plan to buy more in the future, as well as the other flavors.

This thing tastes pretty much exactly like taro milk tea. It tastes better than shops that use flavoring vs real taro. Since getting Boba tea protein, I've been way more motivated to hit the gym. Knowing that I have to put in work before being able to drink it.

I love boba tea and I am in love with this protein shake. The best part of it, is that it’s the flavor because it doesn’t taste chalky or like a protein shake. You can really see that thought was put in to it. This is definitely a product for someone who is working on a health journey and who loves boba.

Followed the recipe of 4fl oz water + 4fl oz milk and it came out PERFECT! It absolutely tastes like taro milk tea. I am so happy to have this alternative to the real thing. It’s a tad expensive but I really miss drinking milk tea regularly, plus the fact that this is 0 sugar and high protein? Amazing!

This stuff is truly amazing, taste so good! Much better tasting then when I get Taro boba with a scoop of protein added at my local Boba shop. I ordered the Taro because it's my favorite flavor and it's lower in calories. Looking forward to trying the Milk Tea and the Vietnamese Coffee! I like to add coconut extract and when I can spare the extra calories I'll add some boba to get the full experience. Amazing authentic taste, it's so delicious!!

I was hooked , I don’t fell so guilty drink taro all day everyday… cause boba taro is good but everyday not so healthy and this top it .. I use oat milk for mine cause I don’t like sweet drinks and it’s perfect ! Even my coworker love it !

FINALLY got to try the taro and classic milk tea. I must say, I was quite surprised how good these were. I thought to myself, "Protein powder that taste like boba milk tea? Sounds too good to be true." But let me just say, IT IS TRUE! They really nailed it! Taste good with regular or reduced fat milk but it's a bit on the sweet side for my taste so I prefer it with unsweetened almond milk. I like making them into blended drinks as well. I also like putting cheese foam on top for whenever I want to really treat myself. It's so good! It's boba milk tea without the guilt. Had my whole family and some co workers try it and now they are hooked! They couldn't believe they were drinking protein powder. I've tried a lot of protein powders and drinks from whey, to pea protein, to bottled protein drinks and by far this is definitely one of the best protein powders I've ever had!

It tastes like how it is described and I like that this flavor does not have caffeine. A little thicker than the black milk tea and matcha flavors because of the sweet potato powder I’m assuming. On the sweeter side but can be fixed with more water or milk! I don’t think I would repurchase this flavor personally but I am a huge advocate for the other flavors :)

It’s good! Slightly grainier than the classic milk tea but that’s probably because of the actual taro powder. Not as smooth texturally but I’m not complaining. Monkfruit extract leaves a bit of an aftertaste and has a distinct sweetness that’s different from sugar. I don’t mind it much. Overall flavor doesn’t really taste like the standard taro bubble tea flavor but it has good and real ingredients.

Truly enjoy the taro protein. Its flavor alongside the creamy texture (when mixed with milk) creates a reminiscent and delectable taste. Also, the sweetness is not overbearing.

Protein Taro drink is delicious! While I originally wasn’t sure that I would like it as I had used monk fruit sweetener in my coffee once before, but didn’t like the taste of it. I really wanted to try Taro Boba as I recently returned to gym. I truly love my Protein Taro drink. You can really taste all the quality ingredients. It goes really well with coconut milk and has very natural taste. It is filling and has no regular sugar in it! I am pre diabetic and appreciate being able to continue drinking Taro Boba tea and other flavors without putting my health at risk-the opposite, the Protein Boba drinks contain vitamins and protein: so good for you. :) :) :) Anna

A friend of mine at my gym introduced me to Boba protein. I didn’t expect a protein powder to take exactly like boba and have so much protein. I was so amazed at the taste, ingredients and nutrition profile. After tasting it, I was determined to get my own. I absolutely love it but wish I the flavours didn’t sell out so fast

Okay first of all, I’m glad I came across Boba Tea Protein and tried it out! I love taro, but usually never get it at places since they use powder with flavoring. I love that this has actual taro in the ingredients. It is a little bit on the sweeter side (for my preference), so I usually have to add a little bit more water, but that’s okay because hydration is good. It’s crazy to think there’s protein in the drink, as I’m used to heavier and more gritty mixes. This protein mixed so easily and basically was like getting a milk tea at one of my fav boba joints!

Outstanding customer service and the flavor is wonderful!!! And you can feel good about it too which is my favorite part!

I’ve ordered and tried all 5 flavors (excluding any new ones like the vegan ones): Classic, Thai Tea, Taro, Viet Coffee, and Matcha. Taro is really yummy! I’ve loved taro milk tea since I was a kid, so this was just a treat to have as a protein powder! It can lean towards the sweeter side, so if you’re not a fan of something too sweet I’d suggest adding a little more water or even mixing this protein powder with another one. I do like how there is no caffeine in this protein powder so if you’re sensitive to caffeine and workout at night you can drink this and not have to worry about not being able to sleep later!

So I do LOVE real taro boba drinks rather then the artificial taro flavor drinks and when I sampled this, it surprised me so much that the flavor was on point. I think for folks who like the artificial flavor may not enjoy this or be caught off guard. Def a fav!

Another traditional favorite bubble tea flavor. I like that the monkfruit sweetener balances with the taro to keep the natural taro flavor and color. Unlike traditional taro bubble tea powders that are too sweet with a lot of added sugars and artificial coloring.

This might be one of my top picks. Either this or the classic milk tea is by far my favorite. Mixes perfectly smooth like the other 4 flavors as well. Perfect taro milk tea!

This is the second Taro flavored protein powder Ive tried and I love it. The flavor is wonderful and i love that it doesnt contain sucralose or aspartame. Best boba protein yet!

Really hit the spot when I was craving taro flavor. Smooth. Again, artificial/protein aftertaste was not very apparent.
